Collaborative Dentistry

unique.jpgWhat Sets Us Apart?

Dr. Gunsaulis is dedicated to ensuring proper oral function and optimal oral health starting at birth.

Our practice works collaboratively with myofunctional practitioners, gastroenterologists, midwives, sleep physicians, lactation consultants, obstetricians, pediatricians, cranial sacral therapists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, chiropractors, prosthodontists, speech, physical, and occupational therapists, naturopaths, psychiatrists, osteopaths, sleep coaches, neonatologists, ENTs, allergists, physiotherapists, dieticians, immunologists, pediatric surgeons, neuropsychologists, neurologists, behavioral psychologists, orthodontists and many more.

We work closely within our collaborative community to aid our infant, toddlers and older patients struggling to feed and sleep.  It's never too early to have your baby do simple exercises for their jaw muscles.  We will discuss the appropriate therapies, food, oral myofunctional therapy and or oral myofunctional appliances that may be necessary to help develop jaws and facial muscles optimally and as early as possible.

What can parents do to support good jaw growth?
When should a parent schedule the first pediatric dentist visit?

"Dr. Molly and her team have been wonderful to work with. From the moment you step through the door you and your child are greeted by warm, caring professionals. My child looks forward to his next appointment and so do I!"
– Christy Smith

Why a Caterpillar: A caterpillar represents growth and change. We embrace this period called 'growing up' and love to watch our small patients grow wings and fly into their future. – Eric Carle, author of The Very Hungry Caterpillar
